The story revolves around Yongcheonru, a grand guesthouse in Joseon, known for treating its guests like royalty. Four interns start working there, each hiding personal goals and secrets:
- Lee Eun (played by Bae In-Hyuk) – Secretly a Joseon prince, he takes on the intern job under the alias Lee Eun-Ho to hide his true identity.
- Hong Deok-Soo (played by Kim Ji-Eun) – A woman in disguise as a man, Hong Deok-Soo aims to become the general manager of Yongcheonru.
- Cheon Joon-Hwa (played by Jung Gun-Joo) – Though he is the successor to the guesthouse, Cheon Joon-Hwa has no desire to take over and works there only because of family pressure.
- Go Soo-Ra (played by Jae Chan) – Coming from a family in decline, Go Soo-Ra works at Yongcheonru to rebuild his family’s reputation and hopes to become a full-time employee.
As they work together, these four characters develop friendships and navigate their own ambitions while dealing with the challenges of Yongcheonru.
