Plot Synopsis
Byeon Mu-Jin (Ji Jin-Hee) was once married to Geum Ye-Yeon (Kim Ji-Soo). During their marriage, they had a daughter, Byeon Mi-Rae (Son Na-Eun), and a son, Byeon Hyun-Jae (Yoon San-Ha). Byeon Mu-Jin attempted various business ventures, but they all failed, leading to the family's frustration and eventual estrangement. After their divorce, Geum Ye-Yeon struggled to raise her children alone, working part-time at a large mart to make ends meet.
Eleven years later, Geum Ye-Yeon's daughter, Byeon Mi-Rae, has grown up and works as the MD at the same mart, becoming the family's primary breadwinner. Her brother, Byeon Hyun-Jae, is a charming yet troublesome young man.
One day, Byeon Mu-Jin reappears in their lives as the owner of the villa building where they reside. He hopes to reconcile with his ex-wife Geum Ye-Yeon and tries to win her back. However, his daughter Mi-Rae strongly opposes the idea, while his son Hyun-Jae supports his father's efforts.
Meanwhile, Byeon Mi-Rae crosses paths with Nam Tae-Pyeong (Minho), a former national taekwondo team member who now works as a security guard at the mart. Unknown to Mi-Rae, Tae-Pyeong hides his true identity and the fact that his father owns the mart.
