Plot
In 1999, in Geoje, South Korea, high school students Pil-Sun (played by Hyeri) and her best friend Mi-Na (played by Park Se-Wan) share a love for dancing. However, their school lacks a dance room where they can practice. One day, they notice Se-Hyun (played by Jo A-Ram), a transfer student from Seoul, cheerleading in the classroom. Inspired, Pil-Sun and Mi-Na decide to form a cheerleading club with Se-Hyun to secure a dance space. This leads to the formation of the "Millennium Girls" cheerleading club, which includes nine members. They cheer for the Geoje Commercial High School’s soccer team, which Chi-Hyeong (played by Lee Jung-Ha) plays for, despite the team being the worst in their league.
